Smarter Collections Storage at the Lambton Heritage Museum.

Over the next year, 21 museums in Canada and Europe will reorganize their collection storage areas to improve artifact conservation and upgrade access to their collections. The project uses the freely available RE-ORG storage reorganization methodology created by ICCROM and UNESCO. This international effort is coordinated by the Canadian Conservation Institute and the Central Institute for Conservation in Belgrade.

Beginning in the fall of 2014 the Lambton Heritage Museum will prepare to move thousands of objects from storage as part of the 2015 reorganization of our collection vault.
