PD Day of winter activities at the Oil Museum of Canada

Oil Springs, ON - Students with a PD Day Friday, February 1 are being invited to the Oil Museum of Canada for a day of winter activities.
The event, from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., features snowshoeing, winter crafting stations, and the exploration of winter-themed artifacts from the museum's permanent collection.
The event is by drop-in, no registration is required however children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission for children ages 4-12 is $3, students over 12 years of age $4, adults $5 and family...
Drive-in' craft and movie event at Lambton Heritage Museum

Grand Bend, ON - Lambton Heritage Museum will be hosting a Cars-themed PD Day event Friday, February 1.
Participants are being asked to bring a box from home out of which they will craft their own, homemade "car". The cars will then be used for a makeshift drive-in movie, featuring Disney's Cars. Bring a pillow for extra comfort.
The event is scheduled to run from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Youth must be accompanied by an adult and are encouraged to bring a lunch.

Lambton County Archives to host James Gordon concert

Wyoming, ON - Lambton County Archives will be hosting solo singer-songwriter James Gordon for a concert at the Sarnia Library Theatre later this month.
The concert will be held at 7:30 p.m., Friday, November 23.
Tickets for the event are $25 and can be ordered through the EventBrite link on the Lambton County Archives' Facebook page. Like the Lambton County Archives on Facebook to receive a $5 coupon code for the event.

Black Gold Fest returns to the Oil Museum of Canada

Oil Springs, ON - Lambton County residents and visitors are invited to attend the Oil Museum of Canada Sunday, July 15 as the County museum celebrates Black Gold Fest.
The event, from 12 noon until 4 p.m., recognizes the 160th anniversary of the First Commercial Oil Well.
Activities include blacksmith demonstrations, vintage hand tools, Annie McLaughin's mini art show, Makerspace activities from Lambton County Library, country music by Colt & Dave, and bagpiper David Cummings.

Horse-drawn wagon tours return

Oil Springs, ON - Family friendly horse-drawn wagon tours from the Oil Museum of Canada return every Sunday this summer, beginning July 8.
Tours are free with museum admission and are offered at 1, 2 and 3 p.m.
