Lambton Agricultural Hall of Fame Induction Plaque and Certificate 

Gold coloured certificate that reads "This certificate is presented to W.P. MacDonald As the Member of Provincial Parliment for Lambton-Kent-Middlesex I am pleased to extend my congratulations to you on being named to the Agricultural Hall of Fame by the Lambton Federation of Agriculture  On this specialoccasion as you receive this honour I am certain this recognition will be celebrated by your family, friends, and the community which you serve. Lambton Federation of Agriculture in Petrolia            (Sarnia Observer)

This image was published in the Sarnia Observer newspaper in the 1950s. The Lambton County Archives has an extensive collection of negatives of images that appeared in the newspaper. Each negative has an identification number. They have been indexed and can be searched online using the museum’s collections database. In this picture, Frank Perkin, Ed O’Dell, and W.P. MacDonald meet as members of the Lambton Federation of Agriculture in Petrolia. It was published January 13, 1956.

Rotary Dinner (Sarnia Observer)

This is another image from the Lambton County Archives Sarnia Observer Negative Collection. It was published in the Sarnia Observer on October 3, 1958. W.P. MacDonald (middle) presents an award at a Rotary dinner in Petrolia.
