This Historic Recipe comes to us from the cook book “Favourite Recipes from Laurel Lea” – Laurel Lea Presbyterian Church – Sarnia, Ontario - Old Baked Bread Pudding by Stella Grantham.

Stella Antosiak was born in Fort William, Ontario to the first marriage of Michael Antosiak. Both of her parents were born in Ukrainia (Ukraine).

Only two of the children from the Antosiak family came to Sarnia from the Thunder Bay area – Stella and her brother Anthony who married Margaret Stott.

Stella first married Wilfred Henry William Wastell, later married Joseph Grantham and had three children; two sons and one daughter.

Stella passed away on 11 December 1982 and was laid to rest at Lakeview Cemetery with her husband Joe who predeceased her on 10 April 1968.
