Grand Bend, ON - Lambton Heritage Museum will be hosting a Cars-themed PD Day event Friday, February 1.

Participants are being asked to bring a box from home out of which they will craft their own, homemade "car". The cars will then be used for a makeshift drive-in movie, featuring Disney's Cars. Bring a pillow for extra comfort.

The event is scheduled to run from 10:30 a.m. to 2 p.m. Youth must be accompanied by an adult and are encouraged to bring a lunch.

To register, call the museum at 519-243-2600 or Email Us. Cost is $3 for children and $5 for adults.

Lambton Heritage Museum is entrusted with the care of over 25,000 historic artifacts, photographs and documents which preserve the history of Lambton County. Situated on a 30 acre parcel across from Pinery Provincial Park, the museum maintains five historic buildings, two display buildings and one main exhibition centre, as well as visitor amenities including the 1km Woodland Heritage Trail. Over its 40 year history, Lambton Heritage Museum has evolved from a collection of collections, to a key repository, safe guard and educator of Lambton’s material heritage.
