Wyoming, ON - The Heritage Sarnia-Lambton network will be hosting a new virtual Heritage Hour on Thursday, June 16 at 7 p.m. This panel presentation, titled Mysterious Artifacts, will explore strange and unusual artifacts lurking inside the museums’ vaults.

“There are many fascinating artifacts in our collections with very unique stories,” said Nicole Aszalos, Archivist/Supervisor, Lambton County Archives. “Through the collections research process, we were able to gather interesting details about these artifacts with surprising results! Join us as we swing open the vault doors to examine some of these mysterious items.”

Representatives from museums across the County will take part, including Nicole Aszalos, Erin Dee-Richard (Oil Museum of Canada), Dana Thorne (Lambton Heritage Museum), David McLean (Forest Museum), Kailyn Shepley (Sombra Museum), Glenn Stott (Arkona Lions Museum), and Gordon Mackenzie (Plympton-Wyoming Museum).

This upcoming Heritage Hour is part of an ongoing series of interesting and engaging presentations highlighting Lambton’s history. All the previous Heritage Hour recordings can be found at lambtonmuseums.ca/heritage-sarnia-lambton.

Heritage Hour is free and pre-registration is required. You can register for this virtual event online.
