A HSL Passport booklet is held up by a human hand in front of the entrance to the Lambton Gallery in Lambton Heritage Museum.

Wyoming, ON – Heritage Sarnia-Lambton, a network of eight local museums, invites visitors to celebrate 175 years of Lambton County history by participating in the Heritage Sarnia-Lambton Passport Challenge.

Throughout June, July, August, and September, residents can visit all participating Heritage Sarnia-Lambton museums, correctly answer a trivia question and collect a stamp/sticker at each site. Once completed, participants can turn in their completed booklet for a chance to win the grand prize of a Tourism Sarnia-Lambton gift certificate and a heritage swag bag.

Participating museums include:

  • Arkona Lions Museum
  • Forest Museum
  • Lambton County Archives
  • Lambton Heritage Museum
  • Moore Museum
  • Oil Museum of Canada
  • Plympton-Wyoming Museum
  • Sombra Museum & Cultural Centre

“As we reflect on Lambton County’s 175th anniversary, we encourage everyone to visit our local museums and delve into the stories of our past,” said Laurie Webb, Manager, Museums, Gallery & Archives. “This challenge offers a fun way for our community to explore that history and possibly win a fantastic prize in the process.”

Passports are available at all participating sites. Contest ends September 30, 2024. Admission rates apply, where applicable.
