Wyoming, ON – The Heritage Sarnia-Lambton network is hosting a virtual Heritage Hour program on Thursday, November 21, at 7:30 p.m. This hour-long panel presentation, titled Legends of Lambton, will highlight the intriguing lives of notable figures in Lambton County’s history. Tales will include lesser-known stories of both celebrated and infamous characters who have played pivotal roles in shaping our County into the vibrant place it is today.

“Legends of Lambton will bring to life the stories of remarkable individuals whose contributions, challenges, and adventures shaped Lambton County as we know it today,” said Erin Dee-Richard, Curator/Supervisor with the Oil Museum of Canada. “The panel will bring a fresh perspective to Lambton’s past, revealing connections that might surprise and inspire.”

Representatives from museums across Lambton County will take part, including Dana Thorne (Lambton Heritage Museum), David McLean (Forest Museum), Greg Stott (Historian, University College of the North), Kailyn Shepley (Sombra Museum), and Nicole Aszalos (Lambton County Archives). Erin Dee-Richard (Oil Museum of Canada) will moderate the presentation.

This upcoming Heritage Hour is part of an ongoing series of interesting and engaging presentations highlighting Lambton’s history. Previous Heritage Hour recordings can be found at lambtonmuseums.ca/heritage-sarnia-lambton.

Heritage Hour is free and registration is required. You can register for this virtual event online at lambtonmuseums.ca.
