Trick-or-Treat event Cackling Cauldrons returns to Oil Museum of Canada
Oil Springs, ON – The Oil Museum of Canada, National Historic Site will offer family-friendly Halloween fun in a historic setting with their annual trick-or-treat event Cackling Cauldrons on Saturday, October 25.
Drop in to the Museum between 11:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. to get in the spooky spirit. Children are encouraged to wear their best costumes to trick-or-treat in the historic buildings. Inside the Museum, families can get creative with Halloween-themed crafts, try witch hat ring-toss, and bob for apples on a string.
“We’re looking forward to this unique, family-friendly, annual event,” said Christina Sydorko, Educational Program Coordinator with Oil Museum of Canada. “Cackling Cauldrons provides children with a space to enjoy Halloween fun and create lasting memories. It’s also a wonderful chance to experience the Museum grounds in a new way, as families explore our historic buildings in costume, join in games, and try new activities together.”
Thanks to our generous sponsor, Pembina, this event is free to participate in, and no registration is required.
Visitors seeking to extend their Halloween fun can head over to the Village of Oil Springs’ Halloween Party at the Youth Centre on Victoria Street from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. for games, crafts, candy, and more.
