We collect objects, photographs, and archival material on the history and story of Lambton County's important contributions to the development of the world's oil industry.

The museum is grateful for your interest in helping to preserve Canada's oil heritage, technology, and local history. Through your donation of objects, you help complete our collection.

We are keen on the story behind an item and how that story can help visitors better understand the past. We strive to collect items that are in good condition and have well documented history of use and ownership. If we cannot accept your donation, we will do our best to refer you to another institution, whose mission is more aligned to your objects.

Accepted artifacts may be eligible for a tax receipt, based on the value of the donation.

Thank you for your interest in preserving Lambton County's oil history.  We collect, please contact the museum before visiting with your donation to make sure staff are available to meet with you.
