The following are the most frequently asked questions by visitors when arranging their trip to the Oil Museum of Canada. If you have a question that isn't listed here, please contact us.

 1) What are the hours?
Monday CLOSED
Tuesday

CLOSED

Wednesday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Thursday 11:00 a.m. - 8:30 p.m.
Friday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Saturday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Sunday 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.

 2) What is the price of admission?
 
Adult $5.00
Senior 65+/Student 13+ $4.00
Child (4-12) $3.00
Family* $15.00
Members and 3 and under FREE

*Families are considered to be a maximum of 2 adults and 4 school-aged children.

 3) Can I see the out buildings without a tour guide?
The Oil Museum of Canada is completely self-guided, meaning you can explore anything without a tour guide.
 4) How do I get an admission ticket?
You can get an admission ticket at the front desk in the main building. 
 5) Is there food or drinks at the Oil Museum of Canada? 
There are no food or drinks offered at the Oil Museum of Canada. However, there is a water bottle filling station within our main building. Explore our eat page to see what food options are available near the museum.
 6) Is there parking?

Yes, there is parking on site, and it is free but very limited. There is accessible parking spaces located beside the building, and we can accommodate larger vehicles, but you cannot stay overnight. 

Electric Vehicles

We have a charging station for electric cars, which is not free and is not available during special events.  

7) How can I see a specific object from a collection?
If you would like to see a specific object, please make an appointment by calling the Oil Museum of Canada or email our collections coordinator.  
8) Do I have to make an appointment to conduct research at the Oil Museum of Canada?
 Yes, please call the Oil Museum of Canada.
